After we went to Lake Basin it started raining again so we had to drive to our campside. It was getting dark as well so we had to hurry up. Just as we reached the campground 2 meters in front of our carpark, Sid broke the stirring gear. Well he didn't really brake it, he was just the one driving this broken car... So they (Sid and Sarah) went to the next telefon to call the people from the car hire to make them bringing us a new car and we started to set up the tarp for the tents. Did I mention that it was raining? So if not, it was raining.. It was warm so it wasn't too bad but if you are camping you don't want to get wet because it will never dry again. In the end our clothes were dry by sunday just before we left the campside. :)
The mosquitos likes the weather as well, because they started to attack me. No not the others... just me.
After maybe 2 hour we've finished with setting up our tents and then we had dinner. I can't really remember what we ate I think it was like tinned fruit salad and some sandwiches, not like the Thurday night when Sarah surprised us with Lasagne and Wine. But it was a nice evening with some beers so we forgot about the rain.
The next morning wasn't much better. It stopped raining at around lunchtime on Saturday. So the whole Island, mostly sand, was muddy because of almost 24h non-stop rain. As we reached the beach it was still impressive to see all the heavy clouds hanging from the sky and touching the ocean in the distance.
